The Curse of the Baby Boomer.

At first the snow was pretty and it still is, but it’s keeping me hostage in my home.

Isn’t it amazing how Mother Nature can ground you even when you didn’t do anything bad?
Yesterday I finally succumbed and stayed piled up, taking turns on the couch, then the bed. I watched movies I’ve never heard of and have now forgotten. I was just plainly too lazy to make hot chocolate.
Today I’m doing my best to wrap my brain around how to do several things on the computer…like how to upload this and that to here and there.

And I am determined to put my book on Kindle and that’s another brain twister…not a bad one, but still for someone who didn’t grow up with a computer attached to my body, it’s a challenge. And since I have no kids to help me, I’m basically at the mercy of anyone kind enough to guide me through all this wired world we all live in and sometimes hate.
But one good thing… I have added more Facebook friends today and that part is so fun of being plugged in to the universe. Then there is the matter of Facebook…it’s changing at warp speed. Just about the time I have it figured out, they go and change it all. I was informed that I would be upgraded in a few days, so I went on and upgraded. Now when I get on FB I don’t know where I am half the time.
Oh, the curse of the Baby Boomer! We know we can compute, figure out the smart phones, reading devices, etc. I mean it was OUR genes that helped produce the people who built some of this stuff anyway, but it takes us longer because all we had were pencils and paper growing up. Where is the fairness, I ask you. Why can’t genes go backward?

SIGH!!! OH WELL! Asi es la Vida! La Vida LOCO! I’m LOCO and that’s not gonna change.

Nite, Nite All
