Intentions, attention, pay attention, plan and carry out intentions. HMMMM!
I woke up this morning with the INTENTION of writing on my blog which is probably not going very far since I’ve moved and just plain have not had the time or inclination.
My ATTENTION for the last half of the year was on finding a house in another state, stopping newspapers, mail, phone, utilities, internet, etc. Not to mention packing and throwing out stuff that I’ve dragged all over the country from sea to shining sea and move.
Not only have I had the intention of writing on my blog, I’ve also turned part of my attention to figuring out how to get my book on Kindle, Nook and any other reading device possible. Now my attention is two-fold.
But wait, now I have the intention of meeting new friends in our new place of residence. So I got a table for eight at a New Year’s Eve dance they had here, only knowing two of the people who were going to attend. I figured, “build it and they will come.” And they did. So now I have new friends and had a ball at the ball dancing the night away til after midnight.
Since meeting two new girlfriends and their husbands…the girls want to get together and help me with the video I want to make to advertise my book. I am going to do a scene from my book and put it on the internet. So, you see, now I have yet another INTENTION.
Guess I’d better pay ATTENTION because as I count my INTENTIONS, they out weigh my ATTENTION…OOPS, another good way to scatter myself all over the place. Note to self:
I must pay Attention to how many Intentions I plan to pay Attention to.
And if you understand all the above babbling, then I have ocean front land in Arkansas I want to sell you.
After practically having to give my computer an enema, I finally got to sit down and write.
I would certainly make me feel great if you all can relate to my scatter brainess (new made-up word…who cares). If Rachael Ray can do it, so can I.
Happy New Year Everybody.

Franelle, I can identify. Most of my INTENTIONS get put into DETENTION because of my lack of ATTENTION and RETENTION!
Happy New Year

Now I’m confused. It could be that I started this whole thing. I must pay ATTENTION to what pops into my mind.
