Howdy folks and fellow sneezers. Now that the soggy wet spring has sprung, so has the mold.
My book, Split Ends by Franelle, is going to be in the LA Times Festival of Books at UCLA. The dates are April 24 & 25. I’m not going but my book is. It will be smack in the middle of the room in the Iuniverse booth. If you know anyone in LA, tell them to stop by the Fesival and check it out
I’m looking forward to the next show I’m doing. I’ve been in ‘festival recovery’ for too long now and am raring to go again. The next one is First Monday in Canton, a once a month event that is always fun. You can meet people from all over the place. I will be showing my book again there as well as the bionic band. Whew, I need a clone. I guess my husband will have to do.
Then I’m going to the Tyler, Tx Health Expo for two days of Bionic Band fun. I told you about this in an earlier post. I found it at a book signing and it has helped me so much, I’m now doing my part to spread the word about it also. It is doing so much good for MS and fibromyalgia patients that I just can’t keep my mouth shut. As you know, I have a neurological disease which mimics MS. I can now walk straight and not stumble and fall over. And that’s always a big help.
My next big Festival is going to be the Bluegrass Festival in Canton, TX in June. I love Bluegrass. It’s another 3 day event. I can’t wait for that one. It will be a blast.
After that I will begin to travel to book signings and anything else I can find to get in to. Writing the book was the easy lonely part. Promoting the book, the fun part. Selling it…priceless.
